
About the Instructors
Grant von Ahlefeldt (Owner)
Grant has been flying for more than 16 years and has accumulated over 5,000 hours of flying experience. He holds a CFII "Single Engine Flight Instructor, Instrument" rating. In addition, he also holds an ATP "Airline Transport Pilot Certificate". He has flown for a UPS affiliate and currently flies for an air ambulance company in Kansas. When home in Colorado, he spends his time at the airport instructing new students.

Tom Slavonik
Tom is a 3600-hour CFI/CFII/MEl who resides in Pueblo West, CO, with his wife Adrienne. He currently works as a full time flight instructor at the Pueblo Memorial Airport (PUB) in Southern Colorado. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2017, Tom and his wife owned a 1959 Cessna 182B for 16 years and flew it extensively from home bases in both Chesapeake, VA, and Chester, SC. As a jump pilot, Tom has over 1000 jump runs under his belt and considers that job to be the most fun he ever had.

Benjamin Sandoval
Benjamin has been flying for 2 years and in that time has acquired almost 500 hours along with CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings. He has extensive teaching experience and thoroughly enjoys working with students one on one. His passions for teaching and flying meld perfectly to make for a very enjoyable and thorough flying experience. His focus is getting students ready for their Checkride (flight and ground training) and he has yet to send a student to a Checkride that did not pass. He works during the week as an Instructor at IntelliTec College in Pueblo and uses his weekends (Fri-Sun) for flight instruction.

Dustin Ringdahl
Dustin is a CFI, CFII and MEI with over 400 flight hours. He has been flying for over 3 years now and loves teaching and talking aviation! He did the majority of his flight training at ATP Colorado Springs and currently lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and 4 year old son. He is dedicated to teaching safety in the air as his number one priority. He loves the dynamic of teaching real world, practical scenarios mixed with the endless fun of flying airplanes.
